Del Nevius, owner of Auction Equipment Inspection (AEI) Services and North Texas Crane, has appointed Robert Nanni to business manager of AEI Services in Lewisville, Texas, in December 2008.

“We were quite fortunate to locate a man with the in-depth experience of the auction and financing industry that Robert has acquired over the years,” stated Nevius.

Since online bidding at auctions is becoming more prevalent, Nevius said Nanni’s expertise will assure customers of quality equipment.

“Robert was with CitiCapital Equipment Finance for the last 13 years holding positions in credit, marketing, sales, asset management and business development for the last four years where he financed equipment for bidders at the Ritchie Bros. auctions,” continued Nevius.

“It was a natural fit for me to join AEI Services. Along with the equipment inspections offered by AEI, we have made it a ’one-stop-shop’ for our customers by providing financing, insurance and transportation,” Nanni said.

Nanni’s new position includes coordinating customer equipment inspections with one of the field service inspectors at various auctions throughout the United States and Canada. He also manages the AEI finance and insurance departments.

“The staff at AEI Services is very excited to have Robert join our team to help build it to have the same reputation in the auction industry as the parent company, North Texas Crane, has developed over the past 25 years in the crane industry,” concluded Nevius.
