XL Specialized Trailers features the new multi-axle XL 130 hydraulic detachable gooseneck (HDG) trailer in its lineup. This lightweight 2+2+2 configuration is capable of scaling 130,000 lbs. (58,967 kg) with a tandem axle set up, ideal for hauling in the southwest.

The full multi-axle is 86 ft. 3 in. (26.3 m) long, while the HDG trailer is 57 ft. 3 in. (17.4 m) long. The main deck is prepped for heavy duty hauling at 28 ft. (8.5 m) long, 10 ft. (3 m) wide. Designed for versatile hauling, a 22-in. (55.8 cm) loaded deck height provides a solution for hauling taller equipment.

A strong deck features upper flange reinforcement with 12- and 4-in. (30.5 and 10 cm) junior I-beam cross members. In addition, Apitong decking — a wood stronger than oak — is raised at 1 ¾ in. (4.4 cm) for extra durability.

The trailer is equipped with heavy-duty swing out outriggers that offer a width of 24-in. (61 cm) to accommodate wide loads and is on 24-in. centers. XL's 2+2+2 uses a 30,000-lb. (13,607 kg) air ride suspension and 30,000 lb. nominal axles.

A detachable wheel area with horizontal pins enables users to add an additional deck section or beam deck for extra length. A bucket well at the rear allows equipment to ride lower, while the 6-ft. toolbox in the front provides a storage area for chains and other materials.

This custom 130 HDG is complete with many other standard features like manual ride height for adjusting the load height in the wheel area and an Air-weigh digital scale. In addition, the unit has a work light for better visibility when tying down at night, as well as several tie down options with D-rings and chain slots throughout.
