Construction Equipment Guide

The Terramite T9 compact tractor loader backhoe is the larger version of the T5C. This machine is bigger and more powerful than the T5C, but it still works in areas inaccessible to big machines. It can be towed with a 3/4 ton pickup truck.

The backhoe digs 10 ft. (3 m) deep and has 1.5 in. (3.8 cm) pins with bushings and 3 in. (7.6 cm) cylinders for heavy duty work.

The loader lifts 2,300 lbs. (1,043 kg) up to 102 in. (259 cm) with 2.5 in. (6.3 cm) cylinders. New style front curl cylinder system increases breakout to 6,100 lbs. (2,767 kg).

The combination of larger backhoe and loader powered by a 32.8 hp (24.5 kW) diesel engine lets the T9 owner do many jobs that used to require “big machines.”

The T9 has a quick attach rear bucket option that lets you change buckets and other implements in seconds. The optional four-wheel drive lets the machine work in low traction conditions with ease. This four-wheel drive system is a full time all hydraulic unit.

The 4-in-l front bucket option enables the front loader to scrape, load, carry and grab. These attachments add to the flexibility and utilization of the T9, according to the manufacturer.
