ABLE Equipment held an open house June 6, 2019, in Allentown, Pa.

The event was the equipment dealer's first at this facility since acquiring the former Ransome Cat location in July 2018.

"This open house gives our customers the opportunity to educate themselves on products that ABLE Equipment has to offer," said Steve Laganas, founder and CEO of ABLE Equipment. "We started here [in Allentown] just about a year ago, and in just this one year, we've had a great response from the community and the people doing work in the area. We were really able to hit the ground running. We have a great team working here. The employees are dedicated … they're enthused. Over the years, we've developed a great culture and that reflects in the services we provide to vendors and customers and I think that's the reason why we're doing well in this market."

Wayne Lenhart, branch manager of ABLE's Allentown facility, was excited to showcase his company's new refurbished facility, which features 10 service bays. ABLE's service team in Allentown consists of three shop technicians, one road technician, one parts professional. Parts inventory averages $60,000 to $70,000 with 24-hour parts availability. If a given part is not available in Allentown, ABLE can transport that part from any of its other five locations in Deer Park, N.Y.; Edison, N.J.; Pennsauken, N.J.; Honey Brook, Pa.; or Norristown, Pa.

In Allentown, ABLE Equipment carries Genie, JLG, Broderson, Manitou, Atlas Copco and JCB telehandlers.

ABLE Equipment provided lunch for its guests and several vendor representatives were in attendance including JCB, JLG, Atlas Copco and Genie.
