Brian P. McGuire, president and CEO of Associated Equipment Distributors, issued the following statement regarding President Donald J. Trump's address to a joint session of Congress.

“With a new president and Congress, the bipartisan leadership failures of the past now present an opportunity for Democrats and Republicans to work together and provide long-term, robust investments to address the nation's infrastructure needs. This evening President Trump laid out a bold vision for rebuilding America. Whether its new user fees or public-private partnerships all options must be on the table to provide these long- overdue investments.”

“We as a nation must not continue to forsake our responsibility when it comes the maintaining and improvement of our infrastructure. AED and its members are ready to work with President Trump and Congress to create economic prosperity and jobs across America.”
