The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has recognized 55 member manufacturers with “Statistics Outstanding Merit Awards” for their exemplary 2008 performance in AEM’s data reporting programs. This enhances the association’s ability to provide meaningful market information to members for their corporate business benchmarking and planning.
The annual awards are based on statistical data reporting timeliness, accuracy, consistency and good corporate citizenship. AEM statistics activities include more than 170 unique product programs with more than 220 reporting companies, covering information ranging from county-level retail sales data in North America to shipments data on a global basis.
