AGC of Minnesota Hosts Successful 94th Annual Meeting

Best-selling author Brent Darnell, Brad Ommodt, Julius Chepey were among the many key industry player to be found at the event.

AGC of Minnesota hosted its 94th Annual Meeting at Radisson Blu Mall of America, Bloomington, on Nov. 20.

The annual meeting, which kicked off with a silent auction and continental breakfast, offered attendees a host of business learning opportunities through education sessions with key industry players, such as best-selling author Brent Darnell, Brad Ommodt, Julius Chepey and many more.

The program took a look at Emotional Intelligence (EI), the concept of social competence and awareness. Darnell explained how it can be measured to increase company’s bottom lines.

A holiday reception with AGC members, industry colleagues from MnDOT, the Association of Women Contractors and the National Association of Minority Contracters immediately followed the eduction sessions.

AGC also congratulated this year’s award recipients — Wayne Olson, Bituminous Roadways Inc., recipient of the Skill-Responsibility-Integrity Award, and Bruce Engelsma, Kraus-Anderson Construction Company, who was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
