Construction Equipment Guide

Web sites have been updated for the co-located 2009 AGG1 Aggregates Forum & Expo and 2009 World of Asphalt Show and Conference to provide industry professionals with the latest information they need to fully participate in the shows. A special feature is an interactive personalized show planner that attendees can use to organize their show activities.

The 2009 World of Asphalt and AGG1 shows will be held March 9 to 12, 2009, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., offering a one-stop exhibits and education resource for the aggregates, asphalt, pavement maintenance and traffic safety industries.

Attendees can go online to register in advance as well as make hotel reservations and obtain discounts on air and car travel. Registration is open as of Oct. 1, 2008. The Web sites also provide the latest updates on show exhibits, education sessions and other show features. Site visitors also will find information on the host city of Orlando, Fla.

The Web sites’ online exhibitor directory includes a personalized show-planner feature. The show planner is an easy-to-use Web tool that allows visitors to organize their show activities to maximize time spent on site. Attendees can save, edit and print out their customized itinerary before and during the shows.

Through the online directory, attendees can search for exhibitors by company name, booth number, type of product, company location and keyword, as well as find exhibitors who have alerted show management that they have new products and technologies on display. Attendees can then use the show planner’s interactive map to locate their must-see companies and products on the show floor. They also can use the planner to organize daily schedules of meetings and education sessions.

For the added convenience of international visitors, the show Web sites include a special section with show information in selected languages and information on the visa application process. International attendees also may request an official letter of invitation from show management in support of their visa application.
