AIM Attachment’s HDT24 universal mechanical excavator thumb features an AR400 steel structure built for a tight fit to work in coordination with any bucket — without wasted motion.

AIM HDT24 thumbs are 24 in. wide and 53 in. (61 by 134 cm) long. They are designed to fit 30,000 to 40,000 lb. (13,608 to 18,143 kg) machines. Standard features include oversized alloy steel pins, specially designed AR400 steel tines with serrated edges and three working positions. HDT24 thumbs have been engineered to fold up tight and make storing a fast and simple process, according to the manufacturer.

AIM thumbs increase the versatility of any excavator, designed for use in waste handling, rip rap, demolition and brush removal tasks.
