“NYC architects are increasingly tasked with supervising all environmental aspects of projects. As the city’s regulations are constantly changing, staying compliant poses serious challenges,” said Claudio Gonzalez, director of marketing of ALC Environmental, following a recent program he conducted for Professional Women in Construction (PWC) on “Building Projects: NYC Regulations.” Part of PWC’s newly launched Continuing Ed series, the program outlined current regulations for asbestos, lead and mold as they pertain specifically to NYC projects.
Gonzalez, an EPA RRP instructor and EPA-certified in HAZMAT abatement, has been conducting training on lead, asbestos and mold for corporations nationwide since 2008. ALC Environmental, a nationwide EPA training provider, has trained more than 10,000 students since its inception in 1996.
