The Anthony S. Santaro AGC Golf Scholarship Classic was held June 18 at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino.
With the largest turnout in the tournament’s 25 year history, both the Shenandoah and Kaluhyat golf courses were used. All proceeds from the event benefitted the AGC Scholarship Fund, which was established in 1988 with the goal to provide financial assistance to college students who have an interest in pursuing a career in New York State’s construction industry. Just short of $1 million in scholarships have been given since the conception of the fund.
Various industry suppliers and contractors donated generously beyond just participating in the tournament. Those sponsors included: Milton CAT, which sponsored the barbecue lunch; and Vector Construction Corp., which participated as a Platinum sponsor along with Posillico Civil Inc.
