Arrow Equipment Company’s operations have been merged into the operations of Blanchard Machinery, Carolina Tractor and Gregory Poole Equipment, effective Feb. 1. Arrow Equipment serves the paving industry in the Carolinas.

Blanchard Machinery is now responsible for serving paving customers in South Carolina, Carolina Tractor for serving customers in western North Carolina and Gregory Poole for serving customers in eastern North Carolina.

“The Blanchard Machinery reach extends across South Carolina. Our staff looks forward to providing our unmatched support and service to the South Carolina paving industry,” said Mark Greene, vice president of heavy construction.

As part of the transition, Arrow Equipment’s Columbia, S.C., location is no longer in operation. South Carolina paving customers are now served out of the seven Blanchard locations that offer heavy contruction equipment statewide.

“As our business has changed in recent years and the paving industry has evolved, we feel we can better serve our customers by moving the business closer to them, allowing us to utilize all of our resources,” said Gregory Poole III, chairman, president and CEO of Gregory Poole Equipment Company. “In addition, the merger will provide our customers with additional access to technical support resources aligned with our other manufacturers.”

“As with Blanchard and Gregory Poole, it is our goal that in combining the great work of Arrow Equipment with the resources of Carolina Tractor, the paving industry will experience an increase in continued customer support,” said Ed Weisiger Jr., Carolina Tractor president.
