ARTBA to Host Workzone Management Conference in September

The Workzone Management Conference is coming to Herndon, Va. Sept. 11 to 13.

The three-day event, which is hosted by the ARTBA Foundation, will feature 25 different workshops with nationally recognized presenters, who will share with attendees the latest innovations transportation construction has to offer.

In addition, attendees will get the chance to earn around 20 professional development hours, learn from safety experts and network with other industry professionals.

This year's keynote speaker will be Stephen C. Birch, commissioner of the Virginia Department of Transportation, who has 26 years of experience in traffic engineering, safety, operations, transportation planning and research.

Dr. Menna Yassin, a highway engineer for the Federal Highway Administration will serve as the event's lunchtime speaker.
