Atlas Copco’s Dynapac F1200C paver is remarkably compact but has a laying capacity of 330 tons (272 t) per hour. Equipped with a V240VE screed, the Dynapac F1200C paver ensures excellent paving results with notable compaction and surface quality. Impressive flexibility in working widths and material filling possibilities make it a good choice for a wide range of jobs, such as cycle paths, sidewalks, repair work, parking garages and sports fields, according to the manufacturer.

The Dynapac F1200C features a 4-cylinder, Tier IV Final Deutz engine. The 66 power pack makes it easy to pave up to 10 in. (25 cm) thick and 10 ft. (3 m) wide, even under difficult paving conditions. With its reliable hydraulic system and hydraulically driven fan, the F1200C offers outstanding economy and efficiency.

Improved long tracks and powerful hydraulic motors give the machine flexibility and a fast transport and working speed. The drive is more comfortable due to a new arrangement of the crawler rollers and an improved center of gravity.

New hydraulics ensures that the power of the engine is transmitted directly to the ground, giving high traction force for precise paving and excellent results.

Paving Quality

A large capacity hopper of 5.5 tons (5 t) is an advantage when working in cramped areas where refilling is a problem. In order to achieve optimum pre-compaction, the F1200C has hydraulic motors for the tamper and vibration in the basic and the hydraulic extendable screed sections.

Customers can choose between a V screed or a TV screed that are either electrically or gas heated for precise, easy-to-operate paving. The gas-heated screed reduces costs, accelerates heat-up time and is equipped with a small gas bottle for easy transport. The screeds have a temperature control unit to ensure that no energy is wasted and the screed is always at its optimum temperature.

Truly Flexible Operation

When working with compact pavers, flexibility is everything, and the Dynapac F1200C offers a paving width from 1 to 10 ft. (.3 to 3 m).

The hopper can be extended to its widest position to push a large truck and carry a big load. It also can be raised high to enter a tight working area yet still be able to buffer a significant amount of material. The strong, divided conveyor makes it possible to guide the material flow for asymmetrical paving by covering one side. With the optional reduction shoes, paving close to a wall, for example, can be accomplished with excellent results.

Robust paddle switches in the conveyor tunnel are standard, and the auger is controlled by ultrasonic sensors. The conveyor is reversible and can be tensioned easily without any obstacles. The fully automated material feeding system with proportional control ensures a homogeneous paving result.

With a length of less than 15 ft. (4.6 m) and a width of 6.5 ft. (2 m), the Dynapac F1200C easily paves in narrow areas, and at a height of less than 6.5 ft., the F1200C also is suitable for performing work inside buildings.

Smart, Intuitive Operation

The operation panel on the F1200C is logically arranged, intuitive and easy to understand.

Every toggle switch is optimally arranged according to function group and operational frequency. Thus, regularly used functions, such as hopper, screed and joystick, are close to the driver for easy access.

The paver is equipped with a backrest that includes a storage compartment and the ability to store the dashboard cover. The stand floor is attached with a fixed connection to the tractor and has a non-slip profile for maximum safety and comfort. For an even better overview, the steps can be extended to the side.

Good Serviceability

Large side doors for easy access have improved serviceability, as well as the grouping of functions. High-end components have been used, together with highly wear-resistant parts, resulting in a long service life.
