Atlas Copco Hurricane debuted its new M-41/1000 booster module at the National Ground Water Association Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas, Nev. Designed to meet a very specific set of applications, the M-41 has a small footprint for installation on water well rigs or reverse circulation drill rigs, as well as mobile drill platforms. Flexible volumetric capacities are available.
The new booster module offers several options for the unit’s prime mover, including hydraulic or electric motor, PTO/belt drive, or diesel engine.
The new M-41/1000 is equipped with the same features as the new B7-41/1000, including a capacity of 2,440 scfm at a maximum discharge of 1000 psi. It also features fork lift pockets in the base frame, a remote mount control panel and a digital temperature scanner.
“The M-41/1000 is a perfect addition to our existing product portfolio and built with the same values as the new B7-41 and B4-41 models,” commented Bram Houpeline, general manager, Atlas Copco Hurricane LLC. “It’s very compact and lightweight, which will give the customer great flexibility for his product and application. We are very excited with this new release and foresee that this will provide the additional support that has been requested by our customers in high pressure markets.”
