Atlas Copco Construction Equipment announced that Wendy Nester-Schiavo was the winner of its baseball prize package. Atlas Copco held the promotion during the 2015 World of Asphalt tradeshow in Baltimore, where attendees were invited to download the new Atlas Copco Construction App for a chance to win a baseball package for two.

Nester-Schiavo, of Stern Nester Paving in Pottstown, Pa., won two tickets to a professional game of her choice and a $2,000 voucher for airfare, hotel and accommodations.

“We are so thrilled that Wendy won our ultimate baseball package and excited that she’s using our new Construction App,” said Brian Bieller, Atlas Copco vice president and business line manager of road construction equipment. “The app is one of the simplest ways for our customers to stay informed about Atlas Copco equipment and industry news — whether they’re on the job site or at the office they can always have information at their fingertips.”

Atlas Copco’s construction app holds the latest information and technical data for the manufacturer’s full line of construction equipment. The app also provides notifications of new product launches, and other industry news. Simple-to-use filters make it easy to find products, and if users need more information or a quote, they can request it from Atlas Copco within the app. The construction app is compatible with Apple and Android devices, tablets and smart phones.

To enter the drawing, show attendees could stop by the Atlas Copco booth during World of Asphalt to show that they had downloaded the app. In addition to getting registered for the drawing, booth attendees also got a look at new equipment from Atlas Copco, including the CP1200 and CP2700 pneumatic tired rollers as well as a new version of its intelligent compaction system.
