Atlas Copco welcomes two new dealers — Best Line Equipment and Asphalt Paving Equipment & Supplies Inc. — to its growing network. The dealers expand the availability of Atlas Copco's pneumatic tools as well as its complete line of road construction equipment.

Best Line Equipment has 12 locations in Pennsylvania and serves portions of six surrounding states, including Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia. It will rent, sell and service Atlas Copco's complete line of Dynapac compaction and asphalt products, from 32- to 84-in. (81 to 213 cm) wide rollers to 10-ft. (3 m) highway class pavers.

“We chose Atlas Copco as an equipment supplier because its Dynapac equipment is world renowned and because of its renewed focus on North American products,” said Adam Houseknecht, Best Line Equipment manager of operations, marketing and business development.

In January 2015, Atlas Copco reintroduced its road construction equipment line. This included upgrading features to maximize productivity through enhanced operator visibility and ergonomic designs.

“We are excited to help them grow because we're seeing increasing market demand for road construction equipment due to recently passed spending bills,” Houseknecht said. “And we know Atlas Copco is poised to support their dealers with this growing demand.”

In addition to its equipment offerings, Best Line Equipment stocks replacement parts to support customers with timely service, which contributes to overall customer satisfaction and minimal servicing downtime.

“Our 24/7 emergency service program continues to be a great asset for us and our customers,” Houseknecht said. “It's our ability to react to our customers' needs that sets us apart from our competition.”

Asphalt Paving Equipment & Supply Inc. rents, sells and services Atlas Copco's light and heavy compaction equipment, asphalt pavers, XAS 185 air compressors and pneumatic handheld tools from its two Delaware locations — the main store in Wilmington and its newest location in Harbeson. The wide range of equipment helps ensure that Asphalt Paving can offer contractors in the road construction industry a complete equipment solution.

“Our centers offer everything from mixes and additives to rollers and pavers,” said Andy Pennington, Asphalt Paving founder and sales manager. “What I tell my customers is ‘if we don't have it, you don't need it.'”

The Atlas Copco equipment, along with Asphalt Paving's diverse offering, helps the supply company serve a growing demand from contractors in Delaware for dependable road construction equipment.

“Delaware has a massive amount of construction projects, and we're helping supply contractors what they need, from shovels to pavers,” Pennington said. “And if they run into any issues, our mechanics are available 24/7. We rely on our honesty and integrity to ensure customer satisfaction. It's those values we share with Atlas Copco that helps them make a great fit for our operation.”
