Baschmann Services Inc., based in Elma, NY, recently completed a 5,000 sq.-ft. addition to its facility, giving it a total of 13,700 sq. ft.

This addition houses Baschmann’s new parts counter, parts warehousing, showroom and sales office spaces.

“Our facility was in desperate need of a larger parts counter and parts storage space,” said Peter Baschmann, president of Baschmann Services Inc. “We’ve taken on many product lines over the past few years and because we have a serious commitment to keeping a good inventory of parts, we simply needed more room.

“When we first started our company, our focus was on equipment repairs. That was our area of expertise and we really had not designed our building to properly cater to new equipment sales. This new facility will accommodate those needs and will provide a better image for Baschmann Services and the companies that we represent,” he said.

What’s more, the company is close to installing a new computer system, which, according to Baschmann, will improve communication among Baschmann, its customers and the manufacturers that the company represents.

Baschmann Services, which serves western NY contractors, represents Rockland, Vibra-Max, Fiatallis, Kobelco, Carlton, Eager Beaver and Kent.
