Beard Equipment Co. has served the state of Texas and southeastern New Mexico since 2006 focusing primarily on the oil and gas industry. Jeff Beard, owner and president, previously served the industry with Cisco Equipment representing New Holland and Link-Belt.

“Being an entrepreneur most of my career, I felt I could provide better equipment and better service. I've been serving this community, in this industry, since early 1990. With the support of two of my key customers who actually pushed me into starting my own business, I founded Beard Equipment Co. in 2006,” stated Beard.

Beard Equipment Co. offers JLG forklifts and man lifts; Atlas Copco compressors; hydraulic hammers and compaction equipment; and an extensive heavy equipment rental fleet.

In 2015 after seeing an increased demand for heavy equipment used in the gas and oil field, Beard signed on Kawasaki-KCM wheel loaders and Kobelco excavators.

“The timing was perfect to expand and grow,” stated Beard “I wanted quality, reliable products to add to my rental fleet. I did extensive research and learned that Kawasaki-KCM wheel loaders are highly regarded with their customers and found them to be exactly what I was looking for.”

“We plan to provide our own service and maintenance contracts, and see the KCM telematics, along with the other KCM support programs, as being instrumental in this endeavor,” said Beard. Beard Equipment has service personnel on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The company has an extensive fleet of service trucks equipped with cranes, welders, parts and fluids.

“We are all very happy to represent the Kawasaki-KCM line,” said Beard.
