Ben Winter to Serve as 61st NTEA Board Chair

Transfer Flow's Ben Winter has been appointed as the 61st board chair of NTEA during Work Truck Week 2025. With a background in automotive manufacturing, Winter is ready to lead the association alongside a diverse group of industry professionals on the executive committee and board of directors.

During Work Truck Week 2025, Ben Winter, vice chairman/business development of Transfer Flow (Chico, Calif.), was installed as 61st board chair of NTEA — The Work Truck Association.

He accepted the position from immediate past board chair Jason Ritchey, president/owner of Curry Supply Co. (Altoona, Pa.).

"Serving our industry is such an important, meaningful undertaking," said Winter. "Throughout my board term, I've worked alongside some amazing people. This year, we have another remarkable group, and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish."

Since 1993, Winter has been driving success of Transfer Flow, an automotive manufacturing company known for its production, technology and engineering. Beginning his journey in sales management, he spearheaded growth initiatives, leveraging experience to introduce service opportunities and deliver projects. Today, his role is multifaceted, encompassing networking, customer relations management, new business presentations and navigating manufacturing challenges.

He studied project management at Butte College, and business ethics and speech/debate at California State University, Chico. He's been active as an advisor or board member for many different manufacturing business associations, including Specialty Equipment Market Association, National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association, California Air Resources Board, Environmental Protection Agency and National Association of Manufacturers. In addition, he served as vice chair at Chico chamber of commerce; board member of EveryBody Healthy Body and Chico Legislative Action; and mentor at Chico Chamber's Young Professionals Organization and Chico Striders (youth running club).

He became interested in NTEA Board involvement to collaborate and contribute to industry growth and development. Since serving on the board, he's been involved with these committees:

• Board Development & Recruitment (chair);

• Business Development;

• Education;

• Executive (chair in 2025);

• Finance & Investment (chair);

• Government Relations; and

• Services (chair).
