Binder Machinery Co., headquartered in S. Plainfield, N.J., announced that it has promoted Patrick Baker to product support representative. Baker has been with Binder Machinery for 17 years and will be working out of the company's Cedar Brook, N.J., facility.

As product support representative, Baker is responsible for working with customers and the company's parts and service department to coordinate repairs and maintenance to minimize customer downtime on equipment.

“Having worked at Binder Machinery as a service technician for the past 17 years, I am able to identify problems in the field and suggest the best course of action to make timely repairs,” said Baker on what he will bring to his new position. “In the role of product support representative, I want to ensure that the customer gets the best service and parts support from Binder Machinery.”

As service technician, he received in-house training to become a Komatsu certified technician and equipment evaluator.

Baker's territory covers Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland, Cape May, Atlantic and parts of Ocean Counties in Southern New Jersey.

Binder Machinery's product line includes Komatsu construction equipment, Wirtgen milling machines, Vogele pavers, Hamm rollers, Takeuchi skid steers and mini-excavators and Sennebogen material handling equipment.
