B inder Machinery Company held a 50th anniversary open house at its new southern New Jersey headquarters Oct. 11. Despite an overcast day, a great turnout helped the company celebrate its milestone.

Binder Machinery Company’s new facility in Winslow Township, N.J., is 33,330 sq. ft. and sits on 10 acres. Approximately 7,000 sq. ft. of the facility is devoted to office space, with the balance housing warehouse, shop and service. There are eight service bays in the main shop and one each in the weld and track shop. The new facility also features a fully enclosed equipment washing and painting facility.

Family members Bob Binder, chairman of the board; Brendan Binder, president and COO; Carlin Binder, utility sales; and Ashlee Binder McMackin, director of marketing; and their entire team of employees were gracious hosts, meeting with and thanking friends and customers for their support over the years.

A giant tent erected in the midst of myriad pieces of Komatsu, Wirtgen America, Metso, Sennebogen and more all combined to create a ConExpo like atmosphere.

Later in the evening after guests enjoyed dinner, Brendan Binder, with the help of his daughter, Lily, drew the winners of valuable raffle prizes, which included Komatsu construction models; a Binder-accompanied golf-for-three at Hidden Creek Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township; two nights at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., as well as dinner for two at the Palm Steakhouse. The grand prize was a 46-in. AQUOS flat-screen LCD television.

Shortly after the winners were announced, Bob Binder took the stage and graciously thanked guests and employees for helping make his company the success it has been for 50 years.

Binder Machinery offers a wide array of equipment from well known manufacturers, including Komatsu, Sennebogen, Wirtgen America, Metso, Atlas Copco, Kobelco and Tadano cranes, ASV, JLG, JRB, Geith, ESCO, Stanley, LaBounty and more.
