Westchester Tractor, Brewster, N.Y., has announced the expansion of its territory for the sales, parts and service of New Holland and Kobelco products to include the entire state of Connecticut. MASS-CONN, the equipment dealer that was serving this market, closed its doors on Jan. 1. Westchester Tractor, which is located just 5 mi. from the Connecticut state line, has agreed to provide complete support for Kobelco and New Holland customers in Connecticut.
John Apple, president of Westchester Tractor, is enthusiastic about the expansion.
“We just put the finishing touches on our state-of-the-art, 35,000-square-foot facility in Brewster two years ago. This facility gives us more than enough service area and parts storage capacity to service the needs of Connecticut. Additionally, our expanded fleet of service trucks can dispatch a factory certified technician anywhere in Connecticut in just a matter of hours. Over time as we see sustained improvements in the construction equipment market we will evaluate opening a facility in Connecticut. Westchester Tractor has been a New Holland dealer since we started in business back in 1976 and we have been a Kobelco dealer for over a decade, so all of our staff is literally experts when it comes to the New Holland and Kobelco product lines.”
Joining the staff of experts at Westchester Tractor is Chris Reseska, who was the vice president of sales for MASS-CONN. He will now take on the responsibilities of sales representative for Connecticut for Westchester Tractor.
Reseska has been selling Kobelco products in Connecticut since the mid-1980s and New Holland products for the last eight years. His expertise in the Kobelco brand, long recognized as a highly popular brand in Connecticut, has earned him the honor of being one of the nation’s top three Kobelco sales representatives for the past several years.
