Bursich Associates Hires Coleman as New Director of Government Services

Bursich Associates Inc., a full-service civil engineering firm based in Pottstown, Pa., has hired Richard M. Coleman as director of government services. A licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland, he comes to Bursich with an extensive background involving work on high-level public projects throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

A seasoned veteran, Coleman has more than 40 years of experience in the civil engineering field with expertise in the design, supervision, and project management of interstate highways and bridges, highway relocations, traffic studies, and highway safety improvement projects. His background also encompasses utility investigation and relocation, railroad projects, erosion control, drainage facilities, and site planning and development.

Bursich’s Government Services Division provides a host of engineering services to clients including local, county, state, and federal government, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.

Coleman is in charge of contract review, quality control, and providing leadership to Bursich’s team of engineering professionals in order to ensure high-quality customer service. His responsibilities also include development and management of budgets and business development.
