MARTINEZ, Calif. (AP) - Officials say a pregnant woman was fatally crushed in her driveway by a gravel trailer that tipped onto her car.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/1Bjs9C8) that Lindsey Combs, 32, had been asked by a Martinez city-contracted construction crew to move her car farther away from a sidewalk construction project.

She was killed after a trailer carrying 20 tons of gravel crushed her and as her 4-year-old daughter looked on.

Anderson Pamilton, her fiance, says Combs was nearly two months pregnant.

The incident, which took place Monday, is under investigation by Martinez authorities and Cal/OSHA, the state workplace safety regulator.
