Contractor Thomas A. Rundstrom of Farmville, VA, and Herman Wallitsch Jr. of Wallitsch Nursery and Landscaping Inc. in Louisville, KY, are the grand prize winners in the 1999 Case Credit Sweepstakes, “A Whole Year of Free Loading.” Both won a year’s free use of a select piece of Case construction equipment.

In addition to mail-in entries, Case customers across North America received one entry each time they used their Case Credit charge account at participating Case dealers between January and June 1999.

“The sweepstakes gives us a chance to recognize customers who use this dedicated line of credit to purchase parts, service and rentals at their participating Case dealers,” said Frank Anglin, senior vice president, operations for Case Credit Corporation.

“Our charge account, the Case Credit Vantage Account, gives customers a high degree of flexibility and convenience. It represents a line of credit for exclusive use at participating Case dealers, freeing customers’ other credit sources. That’s important in today’s competitive marketplace,” Anglin said.

Rundstrom runs an excavating business in rural Virginia. Wallitsch Nursery and Landscaping does major renovation landscaping for residential properties in and around Louisville.

Prizes were awarded at ceremonies hosted by Case dealers. On Oct. 21, Rundstrom was handed the keys to the new Case 590 backhoe by dealer principal Tom Ficklin from White Oak Equipment, headquartered in Fredericksburg, VA. Wallitsch’s prize, a year’s free use of a new Case 570LXT loader landscaper, was awarded by Scott Hunt of Hunt Tractor in Louisville, KY, on Oct. 27.

The sweepstakes was sponsored by Case Credit Corporation and was open to all Case construction equipment customers in the United States and Canada. Case Credit offers qualified customers a dedicated line of credit at participating Case dealers through the Case Credit Vantage Account.
