Case Construction Equipment, Case IH and Titan Machinery recently helped host disaster response organization Team Rubicon as it completed its first heavy equipment instructor training program in Minneapolis. The training — conducted by U.S. Fish & Wildlife and supported with equipment supplied by Case and Titan — certifies 24 Team Rubicon members to oversee the deployment of heavy equipment on disaster relief sites in North America.

The National Wildlife Refuge Association also supported the training program at wildlife refuges in Texas and California where the first rounds of training were conducted. Participants there were instructed in the basics of heavy equipment safety and operation, and then completed project work on each refuge site putting their skills to good use.
