Mon February 10, 2003 - Midwest Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

In less than three months, contractors, dealers, associations and other attendees interested in the construction industry will be heading to CEG’s Cleveland Construction Expo to make contacts, look at the latest offerings and test out some machines.

Following the success of the Philadelphia shows and the 2001 Expo, Construction Equipment Guide’s CEG Production’s “Greatest Show in Dirt” will head to town April 11-12, 2003. From the results of a survey of exhibitors and attendees of the previous show, CEG Productions chose a Friday and Saturday schedule so that contractors would be able to attend the show rain or shine.

With last year’s attendance of more than 2,000, this year’s show being held at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea, OH, should prove to be a success.

The fairgrounds offer a compact site, ideal for indoor and outdoor static and demonstration areas, with additional space for both the backhoe and skid steer rodeos, which saw scores of participants.

A variety of events will be in place for both rodeos, with participants vying for a big, cash prize and recognition as the “best operator” in the area. All operators ready to show off their skills can sign up in advance via Construction Equipment Guide’s Web site (www.constructionequipmentguide.com), or by calling 800/523-2200 and asking for the show coordinator. Sign ups for the rodeos also will be held the day of the show at CEG’s booth, near the registration area.

The 2003 Expo will boast more than 38,000 sq. ft. of indoor exhibit space, several acres of outdoor displays, a large area for active demonstration and operation of machinery, along with plenty of free parking.

Exhibit sales space for the 2003’s Cleveland Construction Expo is off to a great start and with three months to go, will be filled to the brim for attendees to see the latest the industry has to offer.

All the latest makes and models will be showcased.

The timing of the Cleveland Construction Expo – at the beginning of Spring – gives contractors the opportunity to meet with dealers, see the latest products and offerings, and find solutions to their equipment needs before the start of the busy, summer season.

With three hugely successful shows in Philadelphia (in 1998, 2000 and 2001) and in Cleveland in 2001 under its belt, CEG’s 2003 addition will prove to be bigger and better than ever. Regardless of what your contracting firm specializes in, you’ll be able to check out all the latest machinery by every manufacturer in the industry. What’s more, guests can speak face to face with all the major distributors that serve the Midwest region.

If getting the scoop on hundreds of millions of dollars worth of cutting-edge equipment that will help you do your job more productively and effectively interests you, then you’ll want to start making plans now to attend. And, if you are a manufacturer or distributor in the Midwest, you don’t want to miss out on the chance to strut your stuff to thousands of potential customers.

Attendees can pre-register on CEG’s Web site.

For more information on exhibiting or attending, call Bob Emery, Midwest sales representative at 800/810-7640 or Sheila Kirby, CEG Production’s show coordinator at 800/523-2200.
