Twiceme Technology, a Swedish company dedicated to revolutionizing safety solutions, announced that Centurion Safety Products, an innovator in above-the-neck personal protective equipment (PPE) solutions based in the United Kingdom, will integrate Twiceme into two new industrial safety helmets.

The new helmets, the Nexus E:Protect T2 and the Nexus HeightMaster, debuted at the NSC Safety Congress and Expo in Orlando, Fla., as the company expands its presence in the United States.

Centurion Safety Products has provided above-the-neck head protection for various industrial sectors globally for more than 145 years, including mining, construction and utilities. Along the way, the company has embraced technology to support the evolving nature of industrial work sites.

The new Nexus E:Protect T2 with Twiceme is the world's most sustainably sourced ANSI Type II safety helmet comprising a plant-based polypropylene and a fortified wood fiber matrix shell, according to the manufacturer. The Nexus HeightMaster is a modern safety helmet with recreational styling, including a 4-point adjustable EN12492 chinstrap for working at height applications. Both products include optional integrated eyewear.

Centurion's Nexus HeightMaster has an anti-static system for use in explosive atmospheres.

Twiceme's smart safety technology integrates into safety equipment that protects workers before and after incidents occur. A Twiceme smartphone app interacts with next-generation, contactless near-field communications (NFC), which stores valuable information about the equipment and the wearer.

"Our partnership with Twiceme represents a significant step forward in our commitment to advancing safety through innovation," said Allan Lock, CEO of Centurion. "By integrating Twiceme's cutting-edge technology within our safety helmets, we're not just enhancing protection but also empowering workers with critical information at their fingertips. This collaboration is a testament to our dedication to keeping safety at the heart of everything we do."

During a workplace accident, Twiceme supports helpers by reducing lead times during rescue operations, and reduced times can positively impact clinical outcomes for injured people. Twiceme can help reduce time by quickly alerting, relaying the exact location and providing critical information about the person. Twiceme also helps wearers monitor equipment health through a structured self-check safety process and easy storage of workers' certifications to aid prevention efforts.

"At Twiceme, our mission is to advance workplace safety and to empower workplaces to build a culture of safety," said Christian Connolly, CEO of Twiceme. "We're pleased to add Centurion as the latest Twiceme partner. By embedding our state-of-the-art safety technology into these innovative helmets, the technology not only helps to elevate the protection for workers on-site but also enables companies to digitize and advance their overall safety management practices. These helmets deliver a comprehensive range of safety benefits, including mitigating risks, ensuring compliance, and fostering a safety culture."

"Combining Centurion's expertise in safety with Twiceme's innovative solutions allows us to deliver products that are smarter, more efficient, and tailored to the evolving needs of our users," said Nick Branston, technical director of Centurion. "This partnership is about more than just safety — it's about creating a safer, more connected work environment where every detail matters."

The Centurion Nexus E:Protect T2 and the Nexus HeightMaster will be available with Twiceme in the first half of 2025.
