CMW Equipment held an open house at its new facility at 12890 Pennridge Dr., Bridgeton, Mo., on March 24, which included a heavy smoke BBQ lunch, giveaways and more.

In addition to an opportunity to review CMW's equipment line, manufacturer and CMW representatives were on hand to discuss the machines with customers.

"We are appreciative of the many people that took time out of their busy schedules to come and see our new facility," said Larry Glynn, owner of CMW Equipment. "The new location gives us the potential to better serve our customers with more yard, service and parts department space. We are very excited about our future here at CMW."

Serving the asphalt, concrete and ready mix industries, the company was founded in 1956 by J.L. Cummings, Thomas McGowan Jr., Victor W. West and Ethel A. Klein as Cummings, McGowan and West, which later became known as CMW Equipment. Timing was everything, as the Federal Highway Act of 1956 called for 41,000 miles of new interstate roadways to be built.

CMW Equipment carries the following lines: Atlas Copco, BOMAG, Carlson, Cimline, CMI, C&W, E-Z Drill, Falcon, Garbro, Gorman-Rupp Pumps, HTC, Kafka, Kennametal, LB Performance, Matec, Mauldin, Stewart-Amos, Superior Broom, TCI, Titan and Volvo Compaction.
