The Association for Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) are the owners and organizers for ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017, the triennial tradeshow, which is the largest international gathering in the Western Hemisphere for the construction industries. Here are suggestions and tips straight from the horse's mouth, AEM, for making attendance at ConExpo enriching and worthwhile.

Plan Ahead -- Preplanning is key. Use the online show planner and the mobile app. Also, sign up for Show Alerts at the website which will send notices on early-bird specials, hotel deals, emerging equipment and technology for the jobsite of the future, best practices to enhance your safety, productivity and profitability, and construction market information and trends.
Register Early – Get a Badge Pack which includes access to seven different halls/lots for ConExpo-Con/Agg and IFPE on all 5 show days, Free Las Vegas Monorail multi-day pass, Free deluxe coach bus to and from the show to most official hotels, and discounts at various Las Vegas bars and restaurants.
Education – Offered are a record 143 education sessions across 10 tracks, including a new Technology Track, to provide attendees with the latest industry knowledge and best practices to improve their professional skills and company productivity.
Tech Experience Exhibition – Located in Silver Lot 3 outside the Las Vegas Convention Center, the new 75,000-plus square foot Tech Experience will be divided into three zones: (1) the worksite of the future, (2) the jobs of the future and (3) the infrastructure of the future. Tech Experience will be showcasing the ideas and technologies that are expected to transform construction in the future. Focuses on industry innovations and future growth opportunities in the technology field, including drones, autonomous machines, 3-D imaging, smart apps, gamification, big data and IoT.
3-D Printed Excavator – A must see is the most current prototype of the world's first operational 3D printed excavator. For the past two years a conglomerate of trade associations, industry, government and academia have been collaborating.

Online Exhibitor Directory – The Directory of Show Exhibitors is set up to be easy to use. Companies can be found through the Exhibitors in Alpha order or through the Product Catagories list. As the show draws closer, AEM will likely be working on new helpful services and tips right up to the first day. They recognize that their success is dependent on making sure everyone involved in the show is happy. So any questions and/or requests for assistance should be responded to promptly.
