Chicago Pneumatic offers a complete line of pneumatic breakers designed for all hand-operated demolition needs — from light-duty maintenance and pavement demolition to heavy-duty construction, road works and rock cutting projects.
Chicago Pneumatic breakers are available with a variety of upgrades, including noise-damping mufflers and vibro-reduced versions. The S Series features an improved muffler that emits considerably less noise than previous versions, increases operator comfort, and complies with the European Union Directive (2000/14/EC) on noise control, according to the manufacturer.
The SVR Series of pneumatic breakers combines classic performance with comfortable ergonomics with heavy-duty fronthead springs and more comfortable handles designed to reduce reaction back to the operator. The finished product results in drastically reduced vibration emissions and noise levels that are well below the European Union Directive. The reduced vibration limits operator fatigue while simultaneously increasing productivity, and in the long run, the negative effects of vibrations on the operator are reduced and more easily controlled.
CP Pneumatic Breaker Models
The recently updated Chicago Pneumatic CP 1210 pneumatic breaker is a high power, high performance tool designed to deliver the power and durability necessary for a variety of light to medium construction and plant maintenance applications, such as light demolition of floors, pavements and roads.
"Our customers have said the CP 1210 is a quality breaker with a good design that makes handling it very easy," said Olaf Seiffert, Chicago Pneumatic business development manager construction tools. "Our line of pneumatic breakers has been upgraded continuously in order to improve ergonomics and overall performance."
The updated CP 1210 draws upon the track record of the original with the addition of several performance-enhancing features. An improved swivel design has been added for increased maneuverability, and an improved valve system and percussive mechanism allow for more overall power, which leads to better productivity. Also, new lubrication grooves on the piston reduce wear on the impact mechanism, increasing the service life of the tool and its essential components, according to the manufacturer.
The CP 1230 and CP 1240 ranges of pneumatic breakers are designed to deliver the power and durability necessary for a variety of heavy-duty construction and plant maintenance applications, such as breaking reinforced concrete, heavy road works, tarmac cutting, cutting frozen ground and non-consolidated rock, and general heavy-duty demolition work. The CP 1230 and CP 1240 breakers also are available in spike-driving configurations.
Chicago Pneumatic also offers a wide range of breaker air-line accessories, including lubricators to provide proper lubrication for machines, water separators that meet both the BSP standard in Europe and NPT standard in the United States, and RED-X compressed air hoses suitable for compressed-air applications with a maximum working pressure of 290 PSI (20 bar).
