Construction Equipment Guide

With operating weights ranging from 113 lb. (51 kg) to 275 lb. (130 kg), Chicago Pneumatic forward soil and asphalt plates are designed to meet the demands of contractors and rental companies that need reliable compaction equipment.

Intended to boost efficiency and overall performance, Chicago Pneumatic soil and asphalt plates have plate widths ranging from 12.6 in. (32 cm) to 19.7 in. (50 cm) and centrifugal forces ranging from 1,888 lbf (8,4 kN) to 4,361 lbf (19,4 kN).

Powered by long-lasting Honda engines, the machines have strong frames and belt covers that protect vital parts. The lifelong lubrication of essential elements also contributes to easy maintenance and long-service intervals, according to the manufacturer.

Featuring centrally located handles that can be flipped back and forth to align with operators, improving ergonomics, Chicago Pneumatic forward soil and asphalt plates are easy to maneuver and transport.

Chicago Pneumatic also offers three models of easy-to-maneuver plates specially designed to compact asphalt at high speeds. The MV90, MV100 and MV115 all feature robust, removable water tanks and sprinkler systems that allow asphalt work to be completed without interruption.
