Davis Iron Works Promotes Frank G. Nehr Jr. to Pres.

Davis Iron Works Inc., Walled Lake, Mich., recently announced that Frank G. Nehr Jr. has become owner and president of the company. Nehr Jr. has worked in the construction industry for 31 years, 25 of which have been at Davis Iron Works Inc. He succeeds his father, Frank Nehr Sr., who has been owner and president of Davis Iron Works Inc. since 1984 and now serves as chairman of the board.

“I am honored to be president of Davis Iron Works, and am also proud to be a second generation business owner,” said Nehr Jr. Notable recent projects by Davis Iron Works Inc. include the DAC expansion in Detroit; the U of M Stadium expansion in Ann Arbor; and they are currently performing work on the Notre Dame Stadium expansion in South Bend, Ind.

Nehr Jr. also is a past president of the Great Lakes Fabricators and Erectors Association, and past 2012 chairman of the board of the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM).
