Cowin Equipment Company of Birmingham, Ala., now offers the full line of Doosan Infracore Portable Power products in the Atlanta market. The company offers Ingersoll Rand-branded air compressors, generators, lighting systems and light compaction equipment.
Cowin Equipment Company (CEC), headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., a dealer of heavy machinery and construction and utility equipment, primarily serves Alabama, Georgia, northwest Florida and coastal Mississippi.
“The partnership between CEC and Ingersoll Rand goes back more than 70 years,” said James Cowin, president. “So our relationship with Ingersoll Rand and now Doosan Infracore Portable Power is very established.”
Cowin & Company became a dealer of Ingersoll Rand air compressors in 1938. The partnership grew over the years as Ingersoll Rand introduced other product lines to the market.
“Cowin Equipment Company has a strong history with Ingersoll Rand, and we are pleased that it continues today,” said Rita Moore, director of sales, North America, for Doosan Infracore Portable Power. “CEC’s excellent reputation with its customers mirrors the commitment that we have to quality and integrity in the marketplace.”
CEC serves all segments of construction, such as general construction, road building, industrial, mining and quarry. CEC promotes equal emphasis on sales and rental, providing product support and service to all its customers.
Besides Atlanta, CEC currently operates locations in Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile, Huntsville/Decatur and Oxford, Ala., and Pensacola, Fla.
