Terex Utilities, a leader in manufacturing aerial devices, auger drills and digger derricks for the electric utility industry, recently announced a territory expansion for DUECO Inc., an independently owned final-stage manufacturer of Terex aerial devices and digger derricks. The two companies have agreed to an expanded operation area to include Montana and Wyoming. DUECO will now represent Terex Utilities products in 17 states that span across the upper United States from Montana and Wyoming to the East Coast.

As one of the largest providers of Terex Utilities products in the United States, DUECO engineers, service technicians and sales representatives work closely with Terex and its customers, from the initial product concept through final production, to ensure that each utility truck’s specifications are optimized to provide the most productivity and the lowest cost of ownership possible.

"We are excited to provide support to customers in Montana and Wyoming," said Judie Taylor, president of DUECO, a third-generation, women-owned family company. "Many of our current customers have operations in these states, so we will continue to build on those strong relationships while also developing new ones. DUECO is proud to represent the highly productive, reliable line of Terex products, recognized as having the lowest cost over the life cycle of the equipment. DUECO service expertise sets the company apart, as does our organizational philosophy where every one of our team members is accessible and focused on the customer. We strive to exceed customer expectations and provide value through our equipment offerings, parts, tools, accessories, training and superb service response."

"It is an absolute honor to work with the dedicated team at DUECO for more than 50 years," said Jim Lohan, vice president of sales and marketing, Terex Utilities. "Combining Terex Utilities’ commitment to the high plains with DUECO’s unique service and installation capabilities will give our current and future customers even greater access to the value our two companies create together. This expansion is yet another example of Terex Utilities’ commitment to our channel partners, as well as an endorsement for the enhanced level of service and value we believe a great distributor network can provide to utility customers nationwide."

To best support Terex Utilities products, DUECO has manufacturing facilities in Waukesha, Wis. and Watertown, S.D., as well as six service centers available to customers across the country.

In addition to its close relationship with Terex, the company also represents more than a dozen other OEMs, services all brands of utility trucks, staffs field service mechanics to quickly respond to customers’ needs, provides expert parts and training support, as well as offers an ever-expanding line of tools and accessories.

"With their broad reach throughout the U.S., DUECO has done an outstanding job over the years with the Terex Utilities equipment product line. With a reputation for providing exceptional customer service and quality equipment, the Terex line has created many opportunities for DUECO to better serve its utility customers’ unique equipment needs. We are so pleased that DUECO continues to build and expand on their tradition of providing outstanding support to the utility market and related industries, and we’re looking forward to more great things to come from them," said Lohan.
