DuraClass offers a comprehensive line of light duty, medium duty, heavy duty and specialty dump bodies for a wide range of industries and applications.
Aluminum
DuraClass recently introduced aluminum to its line of Class 5-8 truck bodies. Aluminum resists corrosion, eliminates paint expense and increases visual appeal and body trade-in value. Aluminum also increases payload capacity and chassis service life while reducing fuel consumption because it weighs up to 50 percent less than traditional steel.
DuraClass aluminum bodies are available with a range of options including material upgrades, tarp and walk rails, ladders, patch gates, double arm hoists for stability and durability or with traditional front mount hoists for large applications.
Light Duty
The DuraClass Yardbird light duty body is constructed entirely of 10 gauge high tensile steel. Features include seamless double wall sides, boxed three bend toprail for corrosion resistance, tapered front and full depth rear corner posts, fully boxed perimeter tailgate bracing and quick release upper pins.
Medium Duty
DuraClass medium duty dump bodies include features and design for maximum durability, versatility and visual appeal, according to the manufacturer.
Fully enclosed tapered front posts add style, strength and resistance to corrosion. Full depth rear corner posts keep body dimensions true and rigid.
Heavy Duty
Heavy duty DuraClass dump bodies are available in multiple configurations with a large list of available features. The HPT line of premium heavy duty bodies is available to suit any need.
The DuraClass HPT features an interlaced understructure and forward slanted vertical side braces.
The DuraClass HPT-316 includes a lightweight, material shedding crossmemberless understructure. With deep-flanged longmembers the lightweight 316 is easier to clean, prevents slush and salt buildup in harsh environments and hauls more than conventional crossmembered bodies, according to the manufacturer.
DuraClass HPTB combines features of the 316 and advantages of elliptical sides. The smooth sides provide increased payload-to-weight ratio while the rounded floor and low center of gravity provide strength and stability for heavy hauling in punishing environments.
Specialty
The DuraClass 3 to 4 cu. yd. (2.3 to 3 cu m) Sidewinder is perfect for standard dump applications, or equally suited for winter snow and ice control. The 3 to 4 cu. yd. Sidewinder packs the heavy duty features of the larger 5 to 14 cu. yd. (3.8 to 10.7 cu m) capacity DuraClass Sidewinder in a compact package for smaller applications. The 3 to 4 cu. yd. Sidewinder all-season body spreads salt/sand in front of the rear tires through an integral conveyor system to provide maximum traction operator confidence in conditions impossible for conventional rear-discharge spreaders.
