Dynapac North America announced General Equipment & Supplies as its newest dealer partner. General Equipment & Supplies, based in Fargo, N.D., will supply a full line of compaction and paving products in the North Dakota and northern Minnesota markets.

“We are very excited at General Equipment & Supplies about the newly formed partnership with Dynapac,” Matt Kern, vice president of rolling stock sales said. “As we continue to focus on providing solutions for our customers, we feel Dynapac has filled a large gap in our product offering.”

General Equipment & Supplies has more than 34 years in the business, specializing in the rental, service and fabrication of heavy equipment for the construction, mining, oil exploration and municipal industries. The company has six locations in the United States including Fargo, Minot, Bismarck and Williston, N.D., Sioux Falls, S.D., and Shakopee, Minn., as well as two locations in Canada with Regina, SK and Winnipeg, MB.

“With only a few months under our belt, we are excited with our early success, achieving over 80 percent rental utilization right out of the gate with our new soil compaction fleet,” Kern said. “I am looking forward to an exciting future as we continue to grow and expand our Dynapac fleet and offer more products to meet the needs of our customers.”

The addition of Dynapac's complete portfolio to the General Equipment & Supplies fleet complements the dealers growing portfolio, which includes Komatsu , JCB and Kobelco equipment.

“Dynapac North America is proud to work with General Equipment & Supplies as their newest partner to supply a full line of compaction and paving products,” Fabian Salinas, vice president of sales at Dynapac North America, said. “General is a leader in their local market and adding Dynapac as their compaction provider will only strengthen their local presence as well as further Dynapac's presence in the local market. We're excited about the opportunity to work together and continue to reinforce that 'Dynapac is Back'.”

With more than 200 dealer locations in North America, the addition of General Equipment & Supplies marks the second Komatsu dealer Dynapac has partnered with since the Fayat acquisition in October of 2017 as the company continues to expand their network.
