Atlas Copco Construction Tools has announced the addition of Eagle Rental as its new distributor of hydraulic breakers in the state of Maine.

Based in southern Maine, Eagle Rental’s Waterville location will sell, service and support Atlas Copco’s complete line of hydraulic breakers — all featuring Krupp percussion technology. This line of breakers includes 15 models with energy classes ranging from 200 to 15,000 ft./lbs., the largest production hydraulic breaker in the world.

“Eagle Rental is well-known for providing outstanding service and offering some of the best brand names in construction equipment,” said Peter Bigwood, president of Atlas Copco Construction Tools Inc. “Adding it to our nationwide network of Atlas Copco dealers provides our Maine customers with a great combination of exceptional service and a quality product.”

Atlas Copco Construction Tools Inc. is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic breakers with products ranging from smaller hand-held tools to the largest weight class carrier attachments. Until the end of last year, Krupp percussion technology was available in the United States under the Allied brand. Following Atlas Copco’s acquisition of Krupp’s hammer business, the line is being exclusively marketed under the Atlas Copco brand.
