Elliott Equipment Company was founded in 1948 by Dick Elliott. The company, which was founded and still based in Omaha, Neb., was one of the pioneers in developing truck mounted aerial equipment.

Elliott products enjoyed early adoption by electrical contractors and utilities, as post-war America constructed its electrical grid. State and municipal transportation departments also recognized the benefits of an aerial work platform that could also handle materials and began using the Elliott HiReach for sign and lighting installation and maintenance during the build out of the interstate highway system.

Today, Elliott serves leaders in the utility, sign & lighting, public works, mining, telecommunications, energy and construction industries.

All of Elliott's HiReach aerial work platforms, boom truck cranes and digger derricks can be equipped for material and personnel handling and in some cases digging in addition to their primary functions. This allows users to maximize their equipment utilization and do more with their investment, according to the company.

According to Elliott's President, Jim Glazer, Elliott's focus is on "working with our customers to define and build the best solutions to do their work."

"Elliott has been in business for 70 years because we truly care about our customers. We are a family owned business and are proud of the relationships we have developed with our users over the years. We are honored to celebrate this milestone, and are excited about our future. We have a great team and our best years are definitely still to come."
