Exodus Machines announced the expansion of its leadership team with the appointment of Rich Currie as the new vice president of sales. As Exodus prepares for founder, visionary leader and current president Bruce Bacon to transition to retirement by cutting back to part‐time in 2020, the leadership team identified the need to create a new position that would oversee the sales and marketing efforts of Exodus Machines and its divisions — BladeCore, Connect Work Tools, OilQuickUSA and ShearCore.

Currie joins Exodus Machines with more than 18 years of experience in the demolition and scrap recycling equipment industries. He was most recently the vice president of specialty sales of Stanley Infrastructure, with responsibility for the Jewell, LaBounty and CWS product lines.

"I could not be more excited to join the family here at Exodus Machines," said Currie.

"I am delighted Rich chose to join the Exodus family," said Kevin Boreen, CEO.

Currie has a strong background of product development and fostering strategic relationships to drive above market revenue growth across product segments and regions.

"It was a long search for the right person, and I knew from our first conversation that Rich was the right fit," said Boreen. "Rich's integrity, commitment to quality and his focus on relationships lines up perfectly with our corporate principles; coupling that with his extensive background in heavy equipment and hydraulic attachments makes it a winning combination."

"Our mutual philosophy is as simple as it is powerful; hire the best people, deliver the best products, and focus relentlessly on customer satisfaction," said Currie, "I am looking forward to building on the great work that has been done by Bruce, Kevin, and the entire Exodus team in Superior. Together we will continue our impressive growth trajectory."

Started in 2008, on the shores of Lake Superior in Superior, Wisc., Exodus Machines manufacturers and distributes products under four divisions —BladeCore, Connect Work Tools, OilQuickUSA and ShearCore — for both the domestic and international scrap, demolition and construction markets. In addition, Exodus Machines provides full service, parts and rebuild services, including support of the Exodus Material Handlers.
