When Nick Fanto and Andy Pennington decided that they were ready for a new challenge, the two veteran sales representatives looked to Modern Construction Equipment Co., Hatfield, PA.
Bringing more than ten years’ experience to the company, Fanto and Pennington were recently appointed sales representatives.
Fanto and Pennington will represent the New Holland product line for Modern, which is a new product for the pair; and the Dynapac line, which is new to the Modern lineup.
“I’m looking forward to working with the New Holland,” said Pennington. “They have an excellent product, which they’ve researched and tested thoroughly.”
“It’s a well-made and well-engineered product,” added Fanto. “Working with a quality product line New Holland makes our jobs easier. I think that the customers will appreciate the quality of the product.”
Fanto and Pennington are equally impressed with the Modern Group, and its facilities and people, as they are with the New Holland line.
“Modern has done its homework, and have an excellent product,” said Pennington.
“Modern Construction is hell-bent on service,” said Fanto. “It’s one thing to have the greatest product but if you can’t provide parts and service, it’s not the greatest product anymore, and that’s Modern’s goal – to be number one in service.”
Introducing the New Holland product line to some first-time users, Fanto and Pennington have plenty of product knowledge. The pair went to New Holland’s Carol Stream, IL, facility for a weeklong training course. When the Dynapac line begins arriving at the Modern facility in a few weeks, the sales staff will receive in-house training.
The pair is also anxious to get the New Holland product out to their existing customers in Montgomery, Philadelphia, Delaware and New Castle counties. “I want my customers who don’t have experience with the product to see what the product can do for them,” Pennington said. “I’ve already talked to a lot of my preferred customers and they’re very interested in the product.”
Fanto will cover Pennsylvania’s Montgomery County, while Pennington will work Pennsylvania’s Philadelphia and Delaware County and Delaware’s New Castle County.
