Construction Equipment Guide

Featherlite utility trailer model 1610 is for hauling and moving construction equipment, parts, tools and other cargo.

New for 2007, it is available with a package of options specifically suited for contractors.

The “contractor edition” includes a convenient side door for easier access inside the trailer while working on site, e-track on the walls for securing tools and equipment and a dome light.

Six recessed tie downs are also included that are flush with the surface of the trailer and help to secure equipment during transportation.

In addition, the contractor edition includes a gravel guard to protect the exterior paint of the trailer from gravel chips. It is also equipped with stabilizer jacks that keep the trailer steady when unhooked from the truck and work is being done inside the trailer.

Model 1610 is manufactured with corrosion-resistant aluminum that creates a lighter, easier towing. It features strong, moisture resistant Featherlite Advantage wood flooring and 3/8-in. wood lining on the sidewalls.

Model 1610 comes in lengths from 8 to 18 ft. (2.4 to 5.5 m) and is available with an optional rear load ramp and ladder rack.
