Construction Equipment Guide

Gehl Company, manufacturer of Gehl and Mustang skid loaders, now offers the Gehl Avantage, a series of mini-loaders designed with big loader features in a choice of two compact, maneuverable packages — skid steer or articulated-steering. As narrow as 33.5 in (85.09 cm), Gehl Avantage mini-loaders are designed for light construction, landscaping or lawn and turf maintenance.

Unlike stand-behind mini-loaders, the Gehl Avantage literally puts you in the driver’s seat. The operator’s platform features an adjustable padded seat with standard armrests, a seatbelt and a ROPS-certified roll bar. A falling object protective structure (FOPS) also is available.

Featuring full-time four-wheel drive, both the skid steer and the articulated-steering units are available with 20-hp (14.91 kW) diesel engines. The Gehl Avantage mini-loaders offer a full range of attachments and standard auxiliary hydraulics, including flat-faced, dripless auxiliary hydraulic couplers, a quick-attach system and an array of buckets, pallet forks, earth augers, trenchers, hydraulic hammers and mower decks.
