Geith’s Auto Klamp Folds Away When Not Being Used

Wed April 13, 2005 - National Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

There’s a new thumb on the market designed to work with or without a coupler. Geith’s new thumb, the Auto Klamp, automatically folds away when not in use and is designed to work with a variety of manufacturers’ buckets. From a normal working position, an operator turns a lever and then uses the bucket to retract the thumb where a lever automatically locks the unit in a secure position. The thumb has serrated edges for superior load holding and safe handling of stumps, rocks, brush and pipes. The Auto Klamp is available to fit machines 16,000 to 62,000 lbs.
