Generous Donation Earns Recognition

Randal L. Ringhaver, president of Ring Power Corporation, recently reported that the United Way and Twogether for Life employee giving campaign exceeded expectations for the 2001 campaign which was recently completed. Ring Power held company-wide meetings for all employees using the company campaign slogan, "Discover the Power of Giving to your Community." Representatives from United Way agencies, American Cancer Society, and the American Heart Association spoke at each meeting to explain how the money donated is utilized.

Employee contributions for United Way, American Cancer Society, and the American Heart Association totaled $67,339. Ring Power has a 50-percent matching contribution policy and contributed $33,669 to the employee giving, which totaled $101,009. This was a new record contribution for Ring Power and President Ringhaver stated, "I am very proud of the generosity of our employees and their contributions to improve the communities in which we work and live.
