Genesis DemoPro’s Cutting Forces Treat Concrete Like Warm Butter

Construction Equipment Guide

Combining powerful cutting forces, low maintenance and ease of use, the DemoPro concrete and steel processor has been widely embraced by demolition professionals, according to Genesis Equipment & Manufacturing Inc.

Designed for extremely efficient cutting and processing of concrete and steel encountered in demolition applications, the DemoPro concrete and steel processor, like the Genesis line of Magnum shears, uses a proprietary hydraulic regeneration system to provide fast cycle times and an oversized, large bore cylinder for powerful cutting forces.

Available with jaw openings up to 107 centimeters (42 in.) and sizes to fit excavators from 11,340 to 54,431 kilograms (25,000 to 120,000 lbs.), the DemoPro has been effective in a number of varied demolition settings. Ideal both for downsizing of large concrete, rebar and structural steel encountered on site and then for secondary processing — taking material to sizes in the 15-centimeter (6 in.) minus range, for example — the DemoPro provides an increased level of on-site versatility without cumbersome attachment changes or jaw switchouts.

Full 360-degree rotation allows easy material access for processing, while a multi-excavator mounting bracket affords quick changeovers between excavators with a simple pin and bushing kit. All DemoPro jaws are manufactured using a special alloy steel for maximum strength and abrasion resistance, thereby reducing maintenance demands while extending attachment life.
