GeoShack held its annual Technology Roadshow event on June 20 at the Summit County Fairgrounds in Tallmadge, Ohio.
The event provided those involved with construction, survey, civil engineering, architecture and design industries an insight into the latest in laser, GPS, machine control and drone technologies.
The event ran from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and was packed with demonstrations and presentations covering a wide variety of technology applications. A range of machines, including a Caterpillar dozer provided by Ohio CAT, John Deere equipment provided by Murphy Tractor, and Case equipment provided by Southeastern Equipment Co were available at the event.
Two of the dozers were equipped with Topcon's new 3DMC MAXX mastless system and all machines were available for hands-on demonstrations by attendees. GeoShack also conducted a 3D model building presentation as well as a live drone demonstration during the one-day event.
Those attending qualified for three continuing education credits and a certificate upon completion of the training session offered at the event.
