Bobcat Company has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Bobcat of Gloversville-Johnstown as an authorized sales, service, parts and rental provider of Bobcat equipment. The dealership is located at 2053 State Highway 29, Johnstown, N.Y.

Puthaven Farm and Trucking, a diversified, family-owned operation involved in the surrounding area’s agricultural, landscaping and mining markets, recently ventured into the compact equipment business with the addition of Bobcat products, including skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, compact excavators and utility vehicles.

The new dealership — also known as Bobcat of Gloversville-Johnstown — will primarily serve the compact equipment needs of New York’s Fulton and Montgomery counties.

“In selecting a brand of compact equipment to carry, Bobcat Company’s commitment to dealer support was more than apparent,” said Tyler Putman, general manager at Bobcat of Gloversville-Johnstown. “In addition to placing customers in versatile Bobcat machines, the knowledgeable staff at Bobcat of Gloversville-Johnstown has the job site experience necessary to boost customers’ productivity and profit levels.”
