Tue September 16, 2008 - National Edition
Construction Equipment Guide

Grasan’s road-portable KRH1315 impact crusher plant combines high production capacity with versatile over-the-road portability and fast setup. The plant can crush concrete and asphalt rubble and C&D debris at rates up to 400 tons (363 t) per hour and shot limestone at up to 500 tph (453 t).

The total plant weight is 127,500 lbs. (57,833 kg) and a choice of axle configurations is available to meet various highway regulations. The skid-on, skid-off hopper transfers from flatbed trailer to crusher chassis in about 30 minutes with no crane assist. Four independent hydraulic legs provide total operational support and have infinite height and leveling adjustments for fast setup and solid footing.

The crusher is the Hazemag 1315 APPH primary impact crusher designed especially for recycling. The impactor features a fully automatic, hydraulic cylinder system that provides 15 to 20 percent greater production capacity than a same-size impactor with standard controls, according to the manufacturer. It also has smoother operation and produces more uniform products. The unit is available with diesel or electric power.
